Bashundhara Paper Mills Ltd. (Unit–2), formerly known as Bashundhara Newsprint & Duplex Board Industries Ltd., was established in 1994 as the third major paper manufacturing enterprise of the Bashundhara Group. Built to strengthen the Group’s growing industrial footprint, Unit–2 is designed to meet the expanding national demand for high-quality newsprint, writing paper, board, and industrial paper products.
With a robust manufacturing setup comprising three advanced production lines, Unit–2 has evolved into one of Bangladesh’s most reliable and resource-efficient paper units. The plant also houses a 125 MT/day sludge-board production facility, demonstrating innovation in material conservation and sustainable manufacturing.
